In the framework of the Intellectual Output n. 1 “A cultural entrepreneurship research agenda”, 15 case studies were prepared dealing with specific examples of cultural entrepreneurship and innovation in museums and other heritage organisations in the three project countries (Italy, The Netherlands, United Kingdom).

The process of selecting, drafting and finalising case studies was quite complex and was based on the methodology presented by University of Bologna and agreed by the other partners during the 2° project meeting. Important inputs for the selection of case studies came from the multiplier event held in Bologna as the 5 topics around which constructing and selecting case studies were linked to the working tables of the event.

Topics

The draft versions of case studies were presented by the partners during the meeting in London and,  finally, case studies were finalised in spring 2017.

Case studies can be consulted by external stakeholders wishing to learn more about cultural entrepreneurship and innovation in museums and by VET and universities wishing to use them as concrete examples of what have been done in Europe in the field.

In the framework of EMPHOS project, case studies have been used, among other materials, as tools for delivering the training programme.
